Islamia University Bahawalpur will hold convocation on 19th May

IUB is organizing its 11th Convocation scheduled to be held on 19th May 2017. The convocation will be held for the passed-out students of session 2015 at Main Auditorium of the campus. The convocation will start at 9 AM. The students are informed to attend the rehearsal of convocation on 18th May.

Students must read the following instruction for attending the convocation:

1. The students must register themselves in order to appear in the convocation. The registered students will be issued an invitation card for convocation.
2. Students must obtain the costume of convocation for attending the convocation. Convocation costume is available in the campus and will also be available at venue of convocation on 19th May. Students without convocation costume will not be allowed in convocation. Hence, it is better to get the costume at least a day before the convocation to avoid disappointment.
3. The rehearsal for convocation must be attended on 18th May. Students failing to attend rehearsal will not be allowed to appear in the convocation.
4. The medal-receivers (i.e. gold medal, silver medal) and Ph.D. scholars are allowed to invite their family member or friend as a guest to the convocation-hall.  
5. The students must bring their university-issued ID as well as NIC on the day of convocation.
6. Cell phones and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the hall.
7. Professional camera-men will be available for taking pictures and recording video of convocation. All the students can get their pictures or the video of convocation from the University after the convocation.
