Islamia University Bahawalpur Announces 11th Convocation Scheduled for 19 May 2017

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has announced the organization of its 11th Convocation, scheduled to be held on 19 May 2017 at the Main Auditorium of the university campus. The ceremony will be conducted for graduates of the 2015 session and will commence at 9:00 AM.

A mandatory rehearsal session has been scheduled for 18 May 2017, and all graduating students are required to attend.
Important Instructions for Graduating Students

• Registration Requirement:
  All students must complete registration to participate in the convocation. Only registered candidates will be issued an official invitation card.
  
  
• Convocation Attire:
  Students are required to obtain and wear the prescribed convocation gown. The attire will be available on campus as well as at the convocation venue on 19 May. Students without proper convocation dress will not be permitted to enter the ceremony. It is strongly advised to collect the gown in advance to avoid inconvenience.
  
  
• Rehearsal Attendance:
  Attendance at the rehearsal on 18 May is compulsory. Students who fail to attend will not be allowed to participate in the convocation ceremony.
  
  
• Guest Policy:
  Medal recipients (gold and silver medalists) and PhD scholars are permitted to invite one guest (family member or friend) to the convocation hall.
  
  
• Identification Requirements:
  Students must bring their university ID card and national identity card (NIC) on the day of the convocation.
  
  
• Mobile Phones & Electronics:
  The use of mobile phones and other electronic devices inside the convocation hall is strictly prohibited.
  
  
• Photography & Recording:
  Professional photographers and videographers will be available to document the event. Students will be able to obtain official photographs and video recordings from the university after the ceremony.
