Swabi University Foreign PhD Scholarships 2017

The University of Swabi invites applications for Foreign PhD Scholarships in the following disciplines:

• Sociology (01 seat)
• Economics (02 seats)
• Geology (01 seat)
• GIS & Remote Sensing (01 seat)

These scholarships are open to all eligible candidates for pursuing a PhD at foreign universities ranked among the top 200 globally. Selection will be strictly based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Pakistani

Academic Qualifications:

• MS/MPhil degree with at least first division or a minimum CGPA of 3.0
• Valid GAT Subject test with passing marks (GAT General may be acceptable for disciplines where a subject test is not available)
• IELTS will be required prior to final selection, if necessary for admission to the foreign university (not required at the time of application)

Age Limit:

• Maximum 35 years
• Up to 40 years for faculty members of universities
