I want to study law because I believe that law is one of the strongest foundations of a civilized society. Fourth, it reduces job opportunities based on merit. Qualified people are ignored, and less capable individuals are selected through favoritism or bribery. This lowers the overall quality of institutions.
Fifth, corruption discourages foreign investment because investors avoid countries where systems are not transparent.

How to Stop Corruption
